Vocal Technic

This session play for music want to explain to all of you who want to know what it is and how to train vocals sound right. All the basics covered here and what sounds wrote that judging from the voice of a singer. This story I quoted from the lessons that I've got and also based on the opinion of experienced musicians.

To present a beautiful voice in singing, before we got to know some of the steps that must be trained, nurtured, and honed on a regular basis and require a high discipline, namely:

A. RESPIRATORY
B. SOUND SHAPE
C. RESONANCE (Echoing voice)
D. VOCAL & CONSONANT
E.  INTONATION (Singing correct tones)
F.  ARTICULATING (pronunciation is correct & clear)
G. FRASERING (Singing with the whole sentence)
H. INTERPRETATION & EXPRESSION (Understanding & Animates songs)

Stages of the above will be presented role in one of APPEARANCE or staging activities. RESPIRATORY

This is the main and most important part of a vocal exercise. You know why ..? Because the breath is the prime mover of the vote. Strong breath can cause and create vibrations as the source of the "Beep". And breath as well as the most potent vitamins to nourish the sound. Hence respiration must be trained properly and carefully.
In singing, we know the 3 (three) types of breathing. Each - each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

1. Respiratory Shoulder

Ie at the time of taking / take a breath, do it with a shrug to fill the lungs. This way is not so good, because the resulting shallow breathing and result in a sentence so disjointed.

2. Respiratory Chest

That is, with his chest puffed out at the moment to draw breath fills the lungs. This way is also not so good, because it seemed so tired and consequently sound so unstable and disjointed.


3. Diaphragm Breathing
We commonly call by breathing the abdominal cavity. Ie pull / take a breath to fill the lungs with developing the abdominal cavity or diaphragm, as well as developing ribs. The best way to do this is to sing, because it will produce a long breath, light, relaxed and better quality sound production.

 There are several ways you can do to practice this breathing, especially the train "diaphragm" singer, among others:
  1. Standing relaxed, straight body, placing the tip of the thumb finger on the tip of the lower ribs. Take a deep breath through your nose by slowly or quickly, and feel that your thumb was pushed outside the fence, as a reaction to loosening of the ribs. If you already feel full, then the breath had been issued in the form of chanting vocal "a" or a consonant "s" or a count. Certainly not by pushing, but exhale as efficient as possible. Do at least 20x every day or every opportunity for exercise. This will make your abdominal muscles become stronger and stronger.
  2. There are also ways to make stronger the abdominal muscles is to laugh out loud, until it belly jiggle shaken. But if this exercise should be done very carefully, since then you could say crazy people.

Taking breath at the start of the song or the beginning of a sentence songs can be done with deep breathing through the nose with ease. But if at the time of singing or the middle of the song should be performed with short.
